Einleitung

In der neoliberalen Gesellschaft hat das Konzept „Eigenverantwortung“ auch im Gesundheitsbereich einen hohen Stellenwert. Es scheint der staatlichen Verantwortung für die Gesundheit diametral entgegenzustehen, angemessener wäre hier jedoch eine dialektische Perspektive.

Summary

Personal responsibility is a neoliberal key concept that is also important in the health sector. It seems opposed to public responsibility, but a dialectic perspective would be a better approach for understanding the relation between personal and public responsibility for health.
