    Aims and Scope

    Published by Deutsches Historisches Institut (DHI), Rome, since 1898, the historical specialist journal Quellen und Forschungen aus italienischen Archiven und Bibliotheken (QFIAB) presents articles and miscellanea (along with summaries in German and/or Italian) analyzing the relationship between Germany and Italy, as well as Italian history from the Early Middle Ages to the present. In addition, QFIAB also features the director’s annual report plus reports on conferences held by the institute. Each volume is rounded off by an extensive review section (advertisements, reviews) subdivided as follows: general information, festschrifts, collections of essays, conference papers, historical complementary subjects, legal history, Middle Ages, Early Modern Age, 19th century, contemporary history, Italian history (Northern, Central, Southern Italy).
