Abstract

Elektronische Biochips zum Nachweis von DNS oder Proteinen hätten klare Vorteile im Vergleich zu konventionellen optischen Biochips mit fluoreszierenden Markern. Eine Neuentwicklung auf der Basis magnetoresistiver Sensoren zum Nachweis von magnetischen Markern zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Empfindlichkeit und elektronische Signalaufnahme aus, was u.a. auch Herstellungskosten und Volumen (für tragbare Geräte) spart.

Abstract

Electronic biochips for the detection of DNA or proteins would provide distinct advantages compared to conventional optical biochips with fluorescent dye labelling. A new development based on magnetoresistive sensors for magnetic markers is characterized by a high sensitivity and an electronic signal recording, which save production costs and volume (for handheld devices).
