The crystal structure of p-dimethylamino-phenylene-diphenylenephosphin has been determined by Patterson synthesis and refined by full-matrix least-squares methods. The structure is monoclinic, space group P21/n, with lattice constants a = 18.302, b = 8.961, c = 10.542 Å, β = 95.13°. Three-dimensional intensity data were collected with a four-circle diffractometer. The reliability index, including the twenty hydrogen atoms, is 4.6%.
