[Fe(phen)3]2Sb6l22·2CH3CN: Ein Iodoantimonat mit zentralem [Sb6I6]-Doppelwürfel (phen = 1,10-Phenanthrolin)/ [Fe(phen)3]2Sb6I22 · 2 CH3CN: An Iodoantimonate with Central [Sb6I6]-Double Cube (phen = 1,10-Phenanthrolin)

Abstract

Reaction of [Fe(phen)3]I2 (phen = 1.10-Phenanthrolin) with Sbl3 in acetonitrile leads to [Fe(phen)3]2Sb6I22·2CH3CN (1). The structure of 1 was determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data.

1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1̄ with a = 1352.4(1). b - 1376.8(1), c - 1597.7(1) pm, α = 105.85(1). β = 92.09(1). γ = 97.94(1)°. Z = 1. The structure of 1 consists of isolated anions and cations.

The centrosymmetric Sb6I224- ion exhibits a double cube-like structure with Sb and I occupying alternating corners of the skeleton.
