Abstract
Stepwise stability constants of the interactions of 7,8-dimethyl (ribo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydroxypentyl) isoalloxazine (riboflavine) with Y (III) , La (III) and Ce (III) have been determined at 35 and 45 °C and ionic strength of 0.05 ᴍ using Bjerrum-Calvin pH titration technique. The values of free energy (⊿G), enthalpy (⊿H) and entropy changes (⊿S) have been reported.
