Objective Fractional Calculus and Applied Analysis (FCAA, abbreviated in the World databases as Fract. Calc. Appl. Anal. or FRACT CALC APPL ANAL) is a specialized international journal for theory and applications of an important branch of Mathematical Analysis (Calculus) where differentiations and integrations can be of arbitrary non-integer order. The high standards of its contents are guaranteed by the prominent members of Editorial Board and the expertise of invited external reviewers, and proven by the recently achieved high values of impact factor (JIF) and impact rang (SJR), launching the journal to top places of the ranking lists of Thomson Reuters and Scopus.
Primary topics of FCAA:
Fractional Calculus (FC)
Special Functions and Integral Transforms, related to FC
Fractional Order Differential and Integral Equations and Systems
Mathematical Models of Phenomena, described by the above topics
Secondary topics from Applied Mathematical Analysis, iff related to FC:
Algebraic Analysis, Operational and Convolutional Calculi
Generalized Functions, Harmonic Analysis
Numerical and Approximation Methods, Computational Procedures and Algorithms, related to the Primary FCAA topics
Fractional Stochastic Processes
Fractal and Integral Geometry
Applications of these techniques to:
Differential and Integral Equations, Problems of Mathematical Physics
Control Theory, Mechanics, Probability and Statistics, Finances, Engineering, etc.
If revealing connections between Fractional Calculus and the above-mentioned topics to model problems of the real physical and social world
Article formats Research Papers, Survey Papers, Discussion Surveys and Notes, Short Notes, Open Problems, Archives (renewal publication of old and hardly accessible or in other languages articles of significant interest for the journal’s audience), Reviews on Books, Proceedings, etc., Editorial Notes with announcements for New Books, Recent and Forthcoming Meetings, Anniversaries and other events related to FCAA
The journal was founded in 1998 and published during 1998 – 2010 by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, with the valuable support of its Founding Editors, among them – the pioneers of the contemporary fractional calculus (in the lists of Honorary Founding Editors and Honorary Editors).
In the period 2011 – 2014 (Vol. 14 to Vol. 17) the FCAA journal was co-published by Versita (now: De Gryuter Open), Warsaw and Springer-Verlag, Wien, as the first Bulgarian scientific journal in their joint publishing program for East Europe. A wide popularity was achieved by its both print version and electronic version, then at SpringerLink, http://link.springer.com/journal/13540 .
Submission Manuscripts should be submitted to FCAA electronically to the Editor-in-Chief Virginia Kiryakova by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (or email@example.com), subject: FCAA, by a Corresponding Author with a reliable and unchanging email address.
Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English
FCAA manuscripts must be prepared in LaTeX and submitted in pdf-format
The authors should be ready to provide upon acceptance, finally revised versions of the LaTeX source and the figures’ files (if any, in eps- and pdf-format), together with the final pdf-file and the Transfer of Copyright Agreement (TCA form for FCAA). The Instructions for Authors and FCAA format should be followed strictly, and it is expected almost camera-ready prepared manuscript
Once your article is accepted you have the option to publish it open access
Our repository policy allows you to distribute 30 PDF copies of your published article to colleagues (the PDF has to include the information that it is an author's copy). Please also feel free to distribute the link to the online abstract
Your benefits of publishing with us
Rapid online publication with short turnaround times
Effective 1st January 2016, authors from an institution affiliated with either the Association of Dutch Universities (VSNU), the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries or some UK libraries participating in the Jisc Collections SMP may publish primary research and review articles open access in any of De Gruyter's OnlineOpen journals at a discount of 90% of the APC price.
