Since the beginning of 2019, as the Nonlinear Engineering – Modeling and Application journal has been transformed to an Open Access model, there is only one Issue per Volume, and the published manuscripts are continuously added to the current Volume.

A limited number of articles in each volume (2019-2021) is financially supported by Knowledge Unlatched. This means that the APCs charged by the journal will be covered by KU for the first 30 articles in each year.
You are welcome to submit your paper to our journal! The authors whose papers will miss the mentioned funding can apply for 50% discount, which reduces the APCs to 500 EUR.

We maintain a very flexible discount and waiver policy and authors with limited or no access to funding are strongly encouraged to apply for a discount or a waiver.

Objective
The purpose of the Journal of Nonlinear Engineering is to provide a medium for dissemination of original research results in theoretical, experimental, practical, and applied nonlinear phenomena in engineering. The journal serves as a forum to exchange new ideas and applications of nonlinear problems occurring in aeronautical, biological, civil, chemical, communication, electrical, industrial, mechanical, mathematical, physical, and structural systems.

The articles will be considered for publication if they examine nonlinearities in any engineering systems to provide a more realistic mathematical modeling, new design using nonlinearities of the system, stabilizing the system by taking advantage of nonlinearity, discovering the real behavior of the system by including nonlinearity, optimizing the system based on nonlinear interactions, development algorithms to tame nonlinearities and taking advantage of them.
