  • Stéphane J. Ipert is Head of Preservation, Qatar National Library, and the Director, IFLA / PAC Regional Center for Arabic Speaking Countries. He has had a long career as a book conservator and preservation advisor and has written many books and articles on conservation, preservation, and decorated papers. Ipert has degrees in library science, law, and art history from the Université d’Aix-en-Provence.
