Aims and Scope
This is the first systematic and comprehensive German–language overview of key theoretical approaches to foreign policy decision–making. It presents eleven theories of foreign policy research in three sections: the first section addresses the grand theories of international relations; the second examines domestic exigencies affecting foreign policy decisions; and the third addresses cognitive and psychological factors influencing decision-makers.
