    Aims and Scope

The Genesis Commentary by Procopius of Gaza (465/470–526/530) is the first part of his major commentary on most of the historical books of the Old Testament (CPG 7430). "Her two volumes with the edition, translation and study of Procopius’ exegesis of Genesis are a scholarly accomplishment of the highest standards. It offers researchers a reliable basis for future exploration of Greek exegesis of the first book of the Bible."
