Aims and Scope
This monograph discusses modeling, adaptive discretisation techniques and the numerical solution of fluid-structure interaction. An emphasis lies on innovative discretisation and high-resolution interface techniques, and phase-field models. The second part covers efficient and robust numerical solutions and multi-physics problems. Each chapter describes the methods such that it serves for advanced students as well as established researchers.
