Aims and Scope
Between super capacitors, batteries and fuel cells, systems for energy storage and conversion share a broad range of electrochemistry. Besides the fundamentals and materials for those systems, characterization techiniques and lessons learned from biological systems are included. The devices discussed range from lemon batteries and lithium ion batteries to modern concepts including fuel cells, water splitting cells and dye-sensitized solar cells.
