Kulturwissenschaftliche Konzepte der Transplantation
[Concepts of Transplantation in Cultural Studies]
Ed. by Ette, Ottmar / Wirth, Uwe
Aims and Scope
Departing from the by now problematic term “hybridity,” this volume investigates the concept of “transplantation.” The aim is to elucidate the intersections between biological, semantic, and political implications of thinking “according to hybridity” – as they emerge in the fields of medicine and viticulture, literary collage technique, post-colonial studies, eco-criticism, and science fiction.
