[Market-Oriented Design of Hospital Services: Medical Strategies in Theory and Practice]
Aims and Scope
This is the first work to propose a preliminary theory for the market-oriented design of hospital services. In doing so, it closes a gap in hospital management research that has existed now for more than 40 years. Geared toward practitioners, it argues that a systematic overhaul of hospital services can curtail uncontrolled growth in the industry and lead to discernable decreases in costs.
