Lexical Nonmanuals in German Sign Language
Empirical Studies and Theoretical Implications
Aims and Scope
Based on three experimental studies, the book focuses on the empirical and theoretical analysis of lexical nonmanuals in German Sign Language (DGS). The studies demonstrate the relevance of nonmanuals for the meaning of signs, and lexical processing. Being a certified FACS-Coder, the Facial Action Coding System for the detailed analysis and description of nonmanuals is used.
