Aims and Scope
This edition documents in full the resistance and persecution of Austrians in Austria during the Nazi era. All surviving indictments and judgements of trials held against Austrian citizens on account of high treason, treason, and military subversion at the regional courts of Vienna and Graz during the German occupation of Austria are contained here. Also included are files relating to legal proceedings against Austrians, Czechs, Hungarians and other Europeans, who because of their opposition to the Nazi regime, were summoned to appear before the Volksgerichtshof (People's Court).
