Objective
Fractional Calculus and Applied Analysis (FCAA, abbreviated in the World databases as Fract. Calc. Appl. Anal. or FRACT CALC APPL ANAL) is a specialized international journal for theory and applications of an important branch of Mathematical Analysis (Calculus) where differentiations and integrations can be of arbitrary non-integer order. The high standards of its contents are guaranteed by the prominent members of Editorial Board and the expertise of invited external reviewers, and proven by the recently achieved high values of impact factor (JIF) and impact rang (SJR), launching the journal to top places of the ranking lists of Thomson Reuters and Scopus.
Article formats
Research Papers, Survey Papers, Discussion Surveys and Notes, Short Notes, Open Problems, Archives (renewal publication of old and hardly accessible or in other languages articles of significant interest for the journal’s audience), Reviews on Books, Proceedings, etc., Editorial Notes with announcements for New Books, Recent and Forthcoming Meetings, Anniversaries and other events related to FCAA
The journal was founded in 1998 and published during 1998 – 2010 by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, with the valuable support of its Founding Editors, among them – the pioneers of the contemporary fractional calculus (in the lists of Honorary Founding Editors and Honorary Editors).
In the period 2011 – 2014 (Vol. 14 to Vol. 17) the FCAA journal was co-published by Versita (now: De Gryuter Open), Warsaw and Springer-Verlag, Wien, as the first Bulgarian scientific journal in their joint publishing program for East Europe. A wide popularity was achieved by its both print version and electronic version, then at SpringerLink, http://link.springer.com/journal/13540 .
Since Vol. 18 (2015), the publisher and distributor of FCAA is Walter de GruyterGmbH, Berlin / Boston, and the main website is http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/fca.
We acknowledge the continued support and cooperation of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The contents of the Back Volumes (Vol. 1, 1998 – Vol. 13, 2010) are available online at Editor’s websites:
