Submission
Please send an anonymous electronic version (PDF format) of the article manuscript in one file as well as an anonymous abstract (max. 200 words) in a separate file to: the.linguistic.review@uconn.edu

• Set your manuscript according to the guidelines below
• Authors are asked to check their manuscripts very carefully before submitting them in order to prevent delays and extra costs at proofing. Authors will receive PDF proofs for correction which must be returned by dates given in the publication schedule
• Send it directly to The Linguistic Review editorial office the.linguistic.review@uconn.edu
• Double-blind peer review procedure that usually takes 4 months. Submissions are sent to at least 2 reviewers
• Decision on your paper
• Once accepted for publication, authors are requested to submit the final version in the form of two hard copies sent to the Editor-in-Chief and, in addition, an attachment (non-PDF), conforming to journal style. If possible, one of the common word processing systems or LATEX should be used
• Ahead of print publishing
• Upon publication, authors will receive electronic offprints (in PDF format) of their contribution. Guest editors of special issues will receive complimentary print copies of the issue

• Manuscripts of articles should be in English. Authors whose native language is not English are asked to have their article carefully checked by a native speaker
• Please consult the De Gruyter Mouton Journal style sheet when preparing the final version of your article manuscript. Any special characters used should be labelled in one of the hard copies and clearly identified at their first occurrence. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to reject any articles that do not conform to the requirements
• Copies of any letters granting permission to reproduce illustrations or tables from other sources, or lengthy quoted passages, must be included with the manuscript
• Before submitting a paper please get familiar with our Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement as well as Copyright Agreement
• Once your article is accepted you have the option to publish it open access
• Our repository policy allows you to distribute 30 PDF copies of your published article to colleagues (the PDF has to include the information that it is an author's copy). Please also feel free to distribute the link to the online abstract
